Editorial Policy & Fact-Checking
Last Updated: March 2025 • Governed by BodyGrowFit Editorial Board
1. Our Core Mission: Scientific Truth in Fitness
The fitness publishing ecosystem is plagued by clickbait headlines, pseudo-scientific claims, and hidden product endorsements. At BodyGrowFit, our editorial mission is to restore trust in health journalism. We evaluate exercise biomechanics, hypertrophic physiology, and athletic nutrition through the lens of peer-reviewed empirical evidence.
2. Our Five-Step Fact-Checking Workflow
1. Primary Source Investigation
We review primary scientific literature, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, and meta-analyses indexed in PubMed, MEDLINE, and Google Scholar before drafting recommendations.
2. Credentialed Drafting
Articles are written by certified strength and conditioning specialists (CSCS), registered dietitians (RD), exercise physiologists, or public health researchers with genuine, verifiable qualifications.
3. Editorial Fact-Checking & Peer Review
A secondary editor independently verifies all statistical claims, dosages, biomechanical instructions, and citation links for accuracy and clarity.
4. Scheduled Updating & Revision
Sports science evolves. Every published guide carries a clearly visible “Last Updated” timestamp and undergoes regular audits whenever major new meta-analyses are published.
3. Author Transparency & Integrity
We believe readers deserve to know who is authoring their fitness information. Every article on BodyGrowFit includes:
- The verified identity and biography of the author.
- Accredited credentials and certifications (e.g., CSCS, RD, MPH, CPT).
- A clear statement distinguishing general wellness principles from medical advice.
- A complete bibliography of scientific references.
We strictly prohibit fabricating fictional doctors, fake credentials, or fictitious medical endorsements.
4. Corrections Policy
We hold ourselves to rigorous editorial standards. If an article contains an error, incorrect citation, or outdated finding, we correct it promptly. Readers may report potential inaccuracies directly to our fact-checking desk at: corrections@bodygrowfit.com.
